Mark spoke at two Question Mark events in the Chi Omega and Alpha Omicron Pi sororities. Several new students attended, asked excellent questions and shared a vivacious dialogue.
The next night, Greek IV hosted a "Pub Theology" night with food and music. One of Indianapolis' top cover bands (My Yellow Rickshaw) played, followed by Mark fielding spiritual questions in a "Question Mark" format. Mark then shared the gospel and challenged students to stand up if they wanted to begin following Jesus. Eight students immediately stood to their feet (including 5 fraternity guys, some of whom came together!). Pray for the follow-up of these students!

Students packed the room as Mark spoke on “Mistaken Identity: Who am I?” Students acted out Lighthouse’s “Everything” drama sketch, portraying false identities (e.g. relationships, money, drinking, appearance, etc.) and how they imprison us, but the freedom Christ can bring. At the start of the night, students wrote self-descriptions on a sheet “Who am I?” In closing, students exchanged their self-descriptions for a “New ID card” which read, “I am deeply loved by God, and one in whom Christ dwells.” It was very moving a few were even in tears.
At least 3 students indicated they made a first-time commitment to follow Jesus and 22 others recommitted themselves in fresh surrender! Several more students were interested in talking further or being in a Group Investigating God (GIG).

Students asked sincere questions and were non-stop. One student wrote on the comment card, “I wish it didn’t have to end. I could have listened all night!” We saw one student indicate a new commitment to Christ, another student made a significant re-commitment, and several others wanted follow-up to explore further.

Panama City Beach, FL. Starting a Spring Break Outreach is an enormous undertaking! From finding the location, selecting optimum dates, and establishing affordability to identifying ministry partners in the area the details are numerous. Paul Bertsch and Mark spent a fruitful three days in Panama City Beach, FL amazed at the open doors which God provided. They encountered many Christian business owners and leaders from the area that are enthusiastic to partner with IVCF in reaching out to college students during Spring Break. The Flamingo Hotel and Sharky’s restaurant are two of the Christian-owned businesses with whom we hope to partner.

Praise God for his good work at Cedar Campus this past week! There were so many students that all the cabins were filled and three dry-docked boats were employed as cabins!
• Eight (8) students indicated commitments to begin following Jesus!
• Many others made various recommitments to Christ, and commitments to be intentional witnesses on campus.
• Our apologetics teaching ("Truth that Works, Truth that Heals") went very well. Students enthusiastically gained greater understanding to many common questions. The "Biblical Sexuality" session impacted many students…talking and praying with staff about healing from past sins and brokenness.

Sponsored by the Mission America Coalition ~ the USA arm of the Lausanne Movement. Approximately 750 evangelism leaders of various churches and organizations to explore how God is reshaping and revitalizing evangelism in the USA.
General sessions explored how God is working in the USA and ways to partner with the global church. To hear speakers from South Africa and Malaysia pleading for the American church to truly partner with the global church, and not retreat into isolationism was incredibly moving. Over 26 groups (affinity consultations) met in the afternoons to explore specific topics such as apologetics, church planting, justice & evangelism, theology, technology, & mobilizing local churches.

The day of outreach at DePauw university was impressive with a lot of student ownership, good turnouts, Christians inviting and bringing pre-Christian friends, and students committing to follow Jesus with their lives! Some of the highlights of answers to your prayers include:
• Mark enjoyed some informal mentoring time with both student and IV staff leaders about evangelism.
• In the two Question Marks outreach events hosted in the ΦΔΘ Phi Delta Theta fraternity house and in the student union (Union Building). Both events had good turnouts with students asking very thoughtful questions, the gospel was shared for students to consider further decisions.
• Large Group: Mark spoke on the gospel from Romans 10:5-17, and we saw 6 students decide to commit themselves to following Jesus in a fresh way! Afterwards, student leaders and staff prayed, thanking God for His work and praying for the upcoming follow-up. One of the students said, "This was so special that I don't want to leave the room!"

Within the framework of Jesus’ greatest commandment and great commission, students were challenged to deeply experience God’s love and respond to His love by:
1) Loving God
2) Loving People
3) Making Disciples
4) Nurturing the Soul of a Leader (Breakout Session)

We have move our office back to the historic Model Mill Building (8th & Mulberry) in Noblesville. This move has been wonderful...same rent, more space! Also, a business
donated a gently used desk and chairs for Mark's new assistant (Melissa Pidgeon). We are grateful to God for providing such a nice space for ministry.
