Outreach Cafés & Question Mark Events An Outreach Café is a small group outreach often held in a residence hall or a fraternity or sorority for about an hour. With a warm, casual “café” atmosphere featuring music and light food (coffee, smoothies, or dessert), students enjoy a time of hanging out. Next, a student shares a story of his/her spiritual transformation. Then, there is an open discussion and question and answer time about spiritual questions, sometimes introduced by a brief presentation around a topic. At the end, response cards give students an opportunity for taking next steps in exploring the topic and God. A Question Mark Event is an Outreach Café in which Mark Slaughter fields the questions about God.
